There are two ways to set up contribution tracking for your registered accounts. Both options will require you to have an account (TFSA or RRSP) open with us beforehand.
- Log in to your account and go to the Funding page along the header. Select to add funds to your TFSA or RRSP and click Set up. You'll be taken through a series of questions to calculate your contribution room.
- On your Portfolio dashboard, click any of your TFSAs or RRSPs under the “My account”. Once you're there, you'll see a card on the left to set up contribution tracking. Click "Set up" to get started.
Keep in mind that if you hold outside TFSAs or RRSPs, we won't be able to keep track of any outside contributions or withdrawals you make. You can always recalculate your contribution tracking manually as you make contributions or withdrawals to your outside accounts. The simplest way is to consolidate your registered accounts at Mercer Invest Wise, then we'll be able to keep track of all your activity for you.
